Had a breakdown a few years ago while walking the campus of my Alma Mater. The message was clear. I was worse than an outsider. I was regarded as a villain. I love learning and science. I thought the academy was where I would be welcome. Nope. Wrong race, gender, and ideology.

Yep. I've had the same experience. In fact, I think the only reasons this isn't universally recognized is that we're often blind to the faultscof our copartisans, and because so many are intimidated to silence. I literally think the left 8% are as nuts as Trump.
