In a theoretical world where people hunted their own food in the wild, would you still be opposed to eating meat?
My opinion on hunting is less clear. Most animals don’t have great lives in the wild but larger animals like boar & deer might have good lives cut short by hunting. However, when a hunter kills an animal the death is probably less bad than alternatives. So... morally complicated.
It would be worst, since if they were like PETA, they'd be a death cult that considers killing slaves as saving them... And then the corpses would be dumped in a dumpster behind a Piggly Wiggly store.
