In addition to the unprecedented number of individuals, children & families attempting to enter the US unlawfully, illicit narcotics, like fentanyl, are also coming across the border, resulting in an increase of overdose deaths.

The Biden administration unfairly continues to blame the Trump administration for this crisis. We are 5 months into the Biden admin & the number of unlawful migrants continues to rise month after month because they’re not putting policies in place to deal with this crisis.

We should also reinstate some asylum policies that were starting to work effectively, like allowing ppl who want to apply for asylum to apply in their home country or in a safe 3rd country. In addition, we should require swift adjudication of asylum claims at the southern border.
