Staffing shortages are taking a toll on businesses in Ohio & across the nation.
Three restaurants in Wooster, OH have been forced to close 1 day a week due to lack of workers.
No reason the gov't should still be paying ppl to stay home.

Portman, you have no clue about jobs and the economy. All you are saying and doing now is because you are scared Trump will come after you if you don't reiterate his talking points. #portmanneedstogonow

As a restauranteur you have to pay better wages, guarantee steady income & provide benefits. It’s a labor intensive stressful career. Paying min wage & PT hours doesn’t work. We pay our chefs $100k+. #fightfor15

No reason the government should still be putting it's thumb on the scale for employers who refuse to offer decent wages

Perhaps some of the restaurant's former employees did not survive covid-19? There are many across the country that won't be coming back at all.Train new employees while paying a decent wage and the shortage will end.

Let’s set the record straight. There is no labor shortage. There is a living wage shortage.

Probably should do some research into how many people are furloughed/laid-off and are on unemployment while waiting for the company to call them back. You might then see why there’s a shortage.
