For more than a century, the National Park Service has been inspiring Americans to explore the natural beauty of our country.
But in order to keep that work going, we must ensure they have the necessary resources to maintain our national parks.

We don't need the expense of national parks and the federal government shouldn't own property! Give them to the states who can decide what best to do with THEIR land Senator!

Then how about not allowing oil and gas companies access to rip them up. Just throwing out the obvious.

Don't forget Sen. Portman, stop the drilling in our National Parks and killing of animals in our National Parks. Re-establish the environmental provisions 'your boy' eliminated because he has a 'thing' against President Obama and a 'thing' for businesses who damage our lands.

You mean a century minus eight years, because when Obama was President, you voted against parks at every opportunity you could. Well over 305 times.
Prove me wrong if you feel that number is high. How many times did you vote against parks?

We have the Endangered Species Act to thank for protecting so much of the wildlife that make their homes in America's national parks. That's why we're suing the administration over its attacks on the ESA. #StopExtinction @BackpackerMag backpacker.com/news-and-event
