NEWS: Senator Hatch plans to send a letter to the Justice Department later today calling for a pause on family separations until Congress has time to pass a legislative solution to this issue.
There are a number of strong legislative solutions circulating in both chambers of Congress that Senator Hatch is discussing with his colleagues. His top concern right now is the number of families that are separated during the time it takes to get this done right.
Very admirable. Too bad more Republicans are not following your example. But will it matter? I'm hoping you will have an impact.
