Tweeting the same thing over and over doesn’t make the lie any more palatable.
I grew up in a single-parent household, w/ a mom who worked 16 hours a day I know what it feels like to live paycheck to paycheck. I know what it feels like when you’re hopeless. I can relate, and I feel your pain. I see you. We see you. #TaxReform

Oh, stop it. Talk to me when you STILL live paycheck to paycheck, or have a disabled relative who relies on you, or when you aren't going to benefit in HUGE ways from what you're about to do to this nation.

So lived experience is only relevant if it's being lived at the current time? You don't have to agree with policy, but I think it's perfectly understandable for his past experience to inform his opinion.

I remember growing up with a single mother who couldn't afford childcare, much LESS healthcare, and she could only afford to take me to a free clinic when I was deathly ill. Now the GOP have let C.H.I.P. expire and 13 million people are about to lose healthcare.
