California’s homeless crisis. If we want to see an improvement we have to have a better strategy, and much stricter rules and oversight of how money is spent on this crisis. #CADeservesbetter MMpic.twitter.com/SWEj9z0VrW

I think the 150k number might be a little low. Sadly.

You realize most Californians understand SoCal spent 800k each on homeless apartments and SF spends 80k a year per homeless person. Those are not numbers you can say, well we need to just keep better track of the money.

2.35 million and 2.6 million undocumented immigrants call California home/Public Policy Institute of California showed. Those numbers account for 6% of the state’s total population. If they returned to Mexico the homeless from California would benefit greatly.

Newsom stated yesterday that the homeless population is made up of construction workers who lost their jobs. I interview homeless people on the daily and have yet to find a “former construction worker.”

Help those who CAN'T help themselves. Those who won't, we should not spend much money on. The process of finding out who want help but can't help themselves is enough money spent on those who won't. You don't help the birds by feeding them, they become dependent.

There are "cannot's, have not's, and will not's." The cannot's will req institutions and major help for life. The have not's will need some help but will gladly work (and some are) to have housing. The will not's just enjoy the lifestyle but deserve no help!
