Nothing about defense spending needs to be partisan. During the Obama Administration, Defense Secretaries Panetta, Hagel, and Carter all similarly warned that sequestration cuts would handicap our men and women in uniform.

We are already spending plenty on defense, more then the next 12 nations combined. If you are going to increase defense spending, spend it where it is actually needed. On veteran benefits. And the sequestration is the fault of the GOP.
