Nothing in the Constitution requires the Senate to play the House's bad apple bobbing contest. IF the House had shown us an actual impeachment based on history and precedent AND followed the established Rules, we might consider your request. Until then, get bent.

Actually, the Senate worked very closely with the Clinton administration during the impeachment proceedings for President Clinton. It is not against his oath of office to do so.
