For seven weeks, House Democrats have delayed the emergency funding that is badly needed for the humanitarian crisis on our southern border. They have chosen to pick political fights with President Trump rather than get serious about finding compromise solutions.
So today, the Senate is moving forward on the border crisis. The Senate Appropriations Committee just approved a funding package with overwhelming bipartisan support. This a big step toward finally helping our overstretched agencies.
