It is long past time we make Election Day a biennial federal holiday. Why are you so afraid to remove voting barriers? Having been complicit in the longest gov shutdown ever, it’s fair to say you owe these workers and the public at-large a day to exercise their voting rights.

Who would be against making it easier to vote? That is the most basic right in a democracy. You should be bending over backwards to get people to vote.
