The proposal outlined by @POTUS would reopen the government fully. It is the only proposal currently before us that can be signed by the President and immediately reopen the government.

We are not letting the president bully Congress. The Constitution of the United States gives the house, the Senate , and the president the right to agree or disagree on a bill as they see fit. Usually a negotiation it started and compromise is reached. This is democracy.

How can you have confidence the President will sign when he welshed on the last deal he sent you? Maybe its time to make the President an offer he can't refuse...It only takes 67 senators.
