I’m glad productive discussions are continuing between our Democratic colleagues and the White House. When those negotiations produce a solution that can pass the Senate and the House and receive @POTUS’s signature, it will receive a vote on the Senate floor.

As an independent I oppose the wall. It’s useless, unnecessary, expensive. The wall won’t work without 24/7 monitoring of the nearly 2000 miles—1300 of it remote and uninhabited. If one has to monitor the border 24/7 anyway for it to work, building the wall just a waste of money.

This $18 billion, not 5 billion, wall it's not border security. It's a vanity project for Trump, the Russian operative. Stop wasting taxpayer money as you did with tax cuts for the rich. Stop pretending things are normal when you continue to enable a despot. Resignations worrying?

Make border wall funding and immigration a separate issue. Vote on the budget that was unanimously passed instead of holding our country hostage by holding back funding the budget. This is incredibly irresponsible.

Mr Senator, does anyone ever point out the percentage of our annual budget that is 5.7billion...... this incredibly small fraction is a pittance to pay for safety and security.
#MAGA2020#FundTheWall should be called#chucksChristmasShutdown@realDonaldTrump -
Could also provide a lot of medical care for people who desperately need it. But for that, we just simply don’t have the money, do we?
