Perhaps obvious in retrospect: With Q1 ending, from my vantage point @ pre/seed, I saw *zero* change to investment climate & market from January 1 to today. In fact, the quality of tech founders starting new things feels like it's improving upon itself.

We're seeing impact all over the portfolio, Series A-E
Our seed cos raising Series A in Q1 came in <1/2 the price of our Q4 ones (which were absurd)
I've seen late stage companies doing flat rounds despite 2-3xing revenue
to ur pt, haven't seen seed prices change much though

💯
I think there are structural reasons why seed/early stage might even get more heat this year - interest rates, inflation, high price late stages (ie hunt earlier).

People keep talking about the death of growth rounds, but for good companies those seem to still be happening at high multiples too.

Agreed . I haven't seen any downstream affect on early stage yet. Longer outlooks seems to be cushioning this stage for now.

I don't think the trickle down will hit that low. Most of them aren't yet at unachievable valuations. High yes, unachievable no.
