Some outfit development sketches I did a while back for the protagonist of my next comic project. Going back to it to further develop into a useable outfit. The writing part for this project is pretty solid, but I have a long way to go on the visual development still.

I think I finally reached the point where it is no longer productive to keep going. Which is to say, it’s finished. I learnt a lot from this. Modelled in Blender and then painted in #Procreate

Acquired a new plant. Spent an extra day in a shipping box with DHL because of a delay, but it arrived safe and healthy.

Final submission for the class I was taking. Still lots to do on it, and one more feedback video, but I feel like I made good progress. This is the last class I’m taking for the time being. I need to spend time going over what I learnt and kicking my portfolio into shape.

Apparently I last posted progress on this one in March, when the class I started it in ended… Anyway, I picked it up again and it’s come quite a lot further. This is the area I’m working on currently.

Finished the next character for this Genshin piece (thank you, Paimon, for being small and quick to paint). Third character is just visible in the bottom left there. And the background, well, that’s probably going to take the longest.

Finished painting…one of the three characters in this. Just two more and the background to go, plus any adjustments to harmonise it all. Also all the details in Xiao’s outfit I probably forgot because Genshin fashion is way too complicated.

Since I mentioned Lemongrass the other day… Did this for homework in a composition class a couple of months ago and never posted it. Little messy sketched piece of Jayu, who I hadn’t drawn in far too long.

Really sad to see Dragalia coming to an end. I’ve had a lot of fun playing it for the past three years or so. Here’s some of the fanart I drew for the game (+ bonus scribble of Hawk in swimwear and summer Celliera’s pose drawn for the Dragaylia server ages ago) #DragaliaLost

Also maybe I’ll actually get to draw comics again for the first time in ages. Not sure if I’ll finish off the last chapter and a half or so of Lemongrass (it’s so little to do, but it’s also a huge mess) or if I’ll move onto a new project I have planned.

I have another two classes (because one plus a full-time job wasn’t enough pain for me apparently) next month, in the meantime I have designs to work on for my next comic. I didn’t finish Lemongrass, but I burnt myself out so thoroughly that I don’t think I can go back to it.

Forgot to adjust the water when I repainted the sky on this one, so had to make another quick edit. Countdown to me finding yet another reason to make changes on these instead of calling it finished and leaving it.

Visited Angmering Woods with my parents. They’ve been trying for a few weeks to catch the bluebells in full bloom, and this weekend they finally were.
