    You may be wondering... Why do we have to vote for Question 3 in the first place? A 1984 conservative policy passed by the state of Minnesota requires city-wide rent stabilization policies to be passed through the referendum process.

    Passing question 3 is not going to solve the issue of homelessness, but it is a step that we must take to reclaim our power from capital interests so that we may look out for one another as neighbors. Vote yes on question 3.

    As a homeowner in North End with neighbors who rent, I support rent stabilization because I know my community is stronger when people are able to choose to stay, build relationships with their neighbors, and keep their kids in the same school.
