Please forward this message to students who are interested in using passive seismic to determine the depth and nature of sediment and 3D basement shape of the Unaweep Canyon. It’s a great opportunity to work in this beautiful region with an interdisciplinary group.

Here's this morning Arnisdale earthquake as it arrives on three of our stations in Scotland. LAWE (near Oban) is 100km from the event, MCD (near Elgin) about 140km and PGB (south of Glasgow) 160km. Traces are filtered and vertical scale adjusted for clarity.
