This seems consistent with some other data/threads; ie getting people into geology pre-university means they’re more likely to choose to study geology?

Earth Science depts need to look increasingly to recruit students who do not have geology / EnvSci A levels. Which means a more assertive stance when getting in STEM students bandwidth. Loud and proud.

I guess a final piece of crucialdata is determining the percentage of geoscience/earthscience students who have done geology a level, and track and if that has changed over time...

In my experience, many people simply don't know it exists prior to university, and most schools don't offer it. I did GCSE Geology and i think only one exam board even offered it.
