(For those not familiar with enterprise sales, this is very normal and there's no hard feelings on either side! They also really want our product! People are busy, and coordinating between lots of people is naturally difficult. That's why a big co sales cycle is 12-18+ months!)

How often do you do ask for updates?
-
Really depends on urgency and the kind of relationship. With this customer it varies between following up after a week and following up after a month, but there have also been times when either one of us got busy and it waited months

Thanks!

I'm impressed that they spelled your name right. I get my name misspelled in emails constantly. It's right up there! :P

This makes me feel better about the number of follow-ups I send. I don’t want to be annoying, but I also know they’ve expressed serious interest in our product and have gotten pulled away for whatever reason
