Reminder that ppl will make up all sorts of shit to spew transphobic commentary. We aren’t a couple, nobody forced us to transition, this image is from my IG with a caption about how much happier we both are (we are best friends) but that’s the “saddest image you’ve ever seen”🙄

That and the social contagion aspect. The #LGB has become so toxic with this trans/queer shit that lesbians are being pushed from all sides. This is one of the saddest images I've seen. And if they realize what was done to them and detransition, their "community" ostracizes them.

My little bro called me tonight just to talk for 45 min. That’s never happened ever. We talked about his new apartment, his love life, he said a friend of his met a trans person and he told his friend “my brother is trans!” He sounded so excited and proud of me. I’m emotional.

Young trans guys who think it’s a personality trait to stir the pot with “controversial opinions” but are just full of internalized transphobia coupled with toxic masculinity is so cringey I cannot

#ifirstknewIwasLGBTQ when I liked a girl on my bball team & was forced out of the closet as a lesbian at 14. It would take 5 more yrs to realize I was trans & I wouldn’t start my transition until I was 22. Some of us come out multiple times, it can take time to know who we are 💓

My therapist today: so you’re tired of how you feel and how life is, but the thing is, this is your life now. So you can’t just wish for it to be like before. You have to deal. Maybe you are this way now, because of everything. Find the parts you wanna keep. Work on the rest.

A lot of y’all will never know the trauma queer people experience at the hands of their fam/friends/future in-laws just for who they are and who they love and that is some hella privilege that doesn’t get talked about enough.

You ever just sit in your car in your driveaway when you get home & enjoy the neither here nor there feeling of I’m home safe but I’m not inside yet & I’m alone & it’s quiet & It’s just this in between feeling & suddenly you’ve been sitting there for 20 min? Or is that just me?

#NationalComingOutDay what a wild ride. My coming out process is a continual one as a trans person, but I’m so very grateful for who I am today. To all my LGBTQIA+ siblings who have come out and to all those who haven’t — you’re valid, you’re brave, and you are so very loved.

Said “i love you” to my cat this morning, which led to unexpected tears because I used to speak those words so often daily and now I rarely say them aloud. What I silly moment for a wave of overwhelming grief.

If you come into peoples lives, especially those you “love”, and leave them worse than you found them... leave them feeling replaceable and questioning what they knew to be true... leave them hurt bc of your own shit you haven’t figured out — you need to evaluate and do better.
