    Oh FFS, I just found a breach notification in an old inbox, apparently I've been pwned in the breach. I can't remember creating the account, but a password reset proves it exists. Even I can't keep track of all the things I've been breached in...

    we don't have a firm timeline yet, but 2021 seems plausible. we likely need to adjust the indicator for http:// first (experiments are planned for late 2019/early 2020) to make it more of a warning -- on mobile especially, where we don't have the "Not secure" text

    Could we see the removal of the padlock icon in Chrome for HTTPS in 2021? With so much of the web going HTTPS it’s an increasingly redundant indicator. More prominently flagging HTTP as dangerous will make more sense in the future.
