There's a tradition in the US called "a baker's dozen" and that shop probably does that for everyone, if it makes you feel better.
Whenever @Anagobarreto gets donuts, the same store clerk always give her an extra donut. Mad because someone is hitting on my wife, not mad because we get an extra donut.
