Show me where that is documented. Please :) Also, I think "don't break the web" is thrown around pretty hastily without real data.

It’s documented extensively in the meetings notes. You’re relatively new to attending those meetings, so maybe you should read up to better understand the decision making process (that’s what I publish them for).

Thank you Rick! I'll be sure to look through them. Maybe it's best if it's somewhere more accessible. Like committee goals, etc? Maybe I'll propose this.

Sean, I read these tweets as you being pretty rude to Rick. Without Rick starting to take detailed notes, those of us who does not have financial means or corporate backing to attend the TC39 meeting would have no idea about any of discussions and resolutions.

No one is questioning Rick's notes or quality. But thank you for jumping in and reminding everyone of that! And Rick thank you for being involved and taking notes! Mariko, good point, should we consider not forcing people to pay to be involved in standards in general?

Your replies tonight imply you have not read notes, imply you do not understand how current process works nor try to understand it, implies you do not plan to work with existing efforts. That, is what I mean by rude.

And to your answer your comment I didn't even ask: no one force you to pay to get involved and land changes in ECMA262. It is one of very open committee that has avenues for users to voice opinions.

Maybe you should ask for clarification instead of making assumptions. That's clearly what I'm doing. Good advice for future in a medium where context is hard

Your snarky attitude will alienate you from the rest of the standards committee.

And passive aggressive and co descending attitude will continue to push committees even further from the ecosystem they claim to represent. I'll tone down on the snark, because someone needs to represent the ecosystem better.
