Are there any accessibility concerns with entirely dark UIs? Wondering if the only reason they aren’t the default is historical.

As accessibility engineer wish more companies engaged me to build contrast style sheets it’s so simple to do, have it on my own website because of vision problems and need it and spent years using inverse colour themes for OS :) see

We need a web standard, an HTTP header or something, that tells websites to send dark or light UI based on user settings. Since you’re kinda important, can you make a few phone calls to make that happen? :P

I love dark modes too. The brightness of "white" makes me unconsciously avoid the browser in the evening.
