TransferWise takes less than 24 hours between US & UK
This hasn’t been my experience. Usually have to wait at least 2 days for TransferWise.

TransferWise has changed a lot. With their virtual bank accounts, it's down to minutes to transfer US to EU (once the money hits TransferWise from your US account. Benchmarked a bunch of options, still the cheapest. by far.
