Almost a week with Amazon Echo and I can’t help but feel like it’s just speech recognition with a bunch of regexes. Doesn’t feel “smart”. Works really poorly unless you’re 100% locked into Amazon and all its services. Anybody else have similar experiences?

Try a Google product, their ML, AI, whatever experience is bigger than Amazok
I avoid Google products at all cost. Hoping the HomePod is good though.

No desire to try to convince you to change your position on Google, but I will say as an owner of both Siri and a Google Home- Siri is a disappointment. Home, on the other hand, is almost creepily accurate.
