      I wish React had a lifecycle method called getDerivedStateFromProps that was called on component construction and componentWillReceiveProps.

      Some of those are meant to update on props updates, some are bugs because they should only be initial values. Try to guess which ones.

      My use-case is for state that is heavy to compute, that is used in shouldComponentUpdate and other lifecycle methods.
