      + simple and efficient format + flat list instead of tree + minimizes amount of changes and thrash + leaves hoisting up to Yarn

      We're switching to yarn for jsdom at least until https://github.com/npm/npm/issues/17722 … gets fixed. Looking forward to these benefits.

      They are! We made sure to correctly handle prod + optional deps in the lockfile. Hoisting even remains consistent as we have “ghost deps”...

      that only effect hoisting for optional/dev deps that are excluded from the final tree.
