One thing I'm trying at the minute is putting them into the charger for a second. Seems to help, for some bizarre reason.
Spotting the pattern with my AirPods connectivity issues. Only appear to disconnect at certain places along my work commute...

I had mine cut out when walking into the middle of a busy pedestrian intersection. Very weird.
