Need a competent team to fork Node.js and modernize aggressively. Including module system security.
When is Node going to get a promise-based `fs`? Working with Node callbacks and wrapping everything with `util.promisify` feels archaic.

I've been looking into it more lately. On a technical level it's fairly trivial. Biggest issue is expanding public api surface area.

I think a strong case can be made to move over, however, so I consider this "in plan" to work on.

Seriously. And then companies like Google have libs that support promises in node but all docs show callbacks. Makes it hard for new people
