We need to stop calling them "threads" because people w/ C/C++ and Java backgrounds have bad memories.

We are definitely better without low-level threads - they bring more new problems than solutions.

Communication-based data sharing is compelling though. Web Workers already provide basic model for it, similar to other new langs.
