@yarnpkg Why's yarn called yarn?
Real reason: Short, easy/nice to say. Symbolic reason: "Yarn" holds together textiles, just like Yarn holds together your JS deps.

Oh and previously Yarn was called "kpm" (kittens package manager) before open sourcing and we already had the cat logo.

We really wanted to keep the logo and Yarn is related to cats so it felt right!
