Loved Arch when I used it briefly but I think I'd prefer Ubuntu LTS for my workstation.
Probably going to take @lucasratmundo's lead and try out Fedora which looks more stable than the Ubuntu unity/mir drama

Good news: Ubuntu is dropping Unity in their upcoming release. They're adopting GNOME again :-)

I'm running Linux Mint 18.1 on my 2015 MacBook Pro. Works well.

Only thing that I've not fixed yet is my webcam doesn't work in Hangouts.
