If they went and found the best people they could for the conference why complain? If they didn't that's another story.
Refuse to believe that out of 40+ people they could only find 5 women. There are many many talented women in our community/industry.

was this even a cfp conf? can't find anywhere they solicited speakers. these sorts of conferences typically reach out to speakers.
