People teach computer science courses but no one is paying Grace Hopper's estate. Same goes here, no? Not sure I understand the issue
that's not an apt comparison at all. these aren't concepts. they're free community products. exploitation of that is morally bad imo.

A good point though I think I disagree. It's a market gap being filled. OSS creator could provide the service and make that money deservedly
