80 column limits are terrible. Computer screens are bigger than the 80 column punch cards from 1928.
I prefer a line length of 120, which according to some of the replies, makes me a monster who loves making it hard for people to read

I’m also on the 120 chars boat. Great for code review, and for normal window sizes.

I like 60. So I can have several splits. Also, git being more granular / less merge conflicts
