Most of the time it was just me and @thejameskyle, so of course I got personally offended.
I wanted it to be open source because I felt like there was a need for it and talking to friends at other companies they wanted to use it.

But once software is out doesn't the world dictate it's direction unless you specifically target the right customers* (read: users)?

And in measuring success, if you (originally) only aimed for you an your company friends and they (we) love it, why not ignore others input?
