My original plan for @babeljs was to consolidate all the tools that involve processing source code. Lint, bundling, you name it.

A hard goal even if OSS is of the equation. But I think lint/transform tools need to converge more, useful for exposing how they tick.

But it's definitely not out of the question. I want to do the same for CSS tooling; maybe it'll happen some day. :-)
