Crazy idea: Daemon that keeps a pool of nodejs processes warm in the background. Wrapper around 'node' that takes one from the pool.

I think this is the same premise behind Zeus (https://github.com/burke/zeus ) which inspired Spring, which is part of Rails now. Not crazy at all.

Its also how Apache works. If node startup time without loading any code is slow, it makes sense.
