I hate functions as React children so much. Just use an attribute. So much cleaner and you're not messing with types.

I think we're talking about <Thing>{() => ()}</Thing> v. <Thing render={() => ()}/> In which case, I, too, prefer the "attribute" form.

this.props.children is how you say "tell me what to render". Being an element v. a function doesn't change the meaning.
