What's the fastest and most efficient way to move elements in CSS? Is it still transform translate or is it the same as left/top?

Yeah still transforms. Normally has to be matched with layer creation (will-change etc) to avoid start-of-animation promo painting.
Sweet, thank you! My use-case is dragging windows and I can't notice a difference between them but effiency is always preferrable

Enable paint flashing to a) see the repaints b) make performance even worse and you’ll be able to tell ;)
