What's the actual chance of Fb using Polymer or Angular in production though? No hostility intended, it just seems unlikely.
For http://facebook.com ? Extremely unlikely. For other isolated websites? Framework use isn't enforced so teams are free to pick.

Does it happen though? Same goes for Google + React, obviously. Apart from likelihood, maintainability could also be a concern.

Yes. Angular is used in a few public places and so is vue.js
