that's interesting. I do feel like SSR with WCs is probably like "statically analyzable" React...

.. meaning that you can only do it in 80% of the cases. But I'm speculating. #shrug

In fairness I've used React, Ember, Angular 1 a *lot*, and Angular 2 *a little*. Not much Polymer

when I investigated WCs 2 years ago, I was targeting evergreen browsers. Just found them lacking.

I think the biggest killer at the time was SVG. Most of the components were for dataviz.

Where I could see a clear advantage with WCs though, would be in the area of animations.
