Been using a lot of ES2015 Sets and struggling to decide when to use an array or a collection.

when order is important, when duplicate entries are legit. Basically an array is a structure, a set isn't.
order matters in sets, i find myself relying on the unique ordering

how can you abstract order from a set? Surely it's just has / hasn't for any given item?

it's sorted by insertion order, you can extract the values with .entries() and [Symbol.iterator[
