What is the original motivation behind babel-plugin-transform-react-pure-class-to-function?

I think it makes sense on linter level (“write them as fns”) but not on the compile transform level.

The thing is, React today turns them internally into classes anyway :P. But yea, it’s generally unsafe.

*if* fn components were auto-SCU i would use the shit out of this. Write classes all the time, free opt.
