      @sebmck define "support". Ubuntu will run fine but sleep/wake etc will not be as smooth as you're used to: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/MacBookPro …

      @seldo Ubuntu worked out of the box except for trackpad support.Acceleration was out of whack and it would detect my thumb as mouse movement

      @sebmck if by "support" you mean "be as nice as OS X" then definitely not. Desktop Linux is for enthusiasts and ideologues.

          @sebmck I def prefer (or used to before work SW forced me to switch) Linux-on-thnkpad. Could never get Linux on Mac working as well @seldo
