#unpopularopinion? You can't call an open source project a community one when all the commits and planning are from a single company.

@vjeux not at all. it could apply to some FB projects but i know we're trying pretty hard to change that. some companies/projects don't care

@sebmck for React, it can be argued that the main project is mostly driven by fb in respect to commits and planning.

@vjeux i think it's absolutely the case for react but it's the same for all the major frameworks bar ember

@sebmck @Vjeux I see the React team's role is to coordinate different opinions/ideas from many sources. What we land is ultimately a mashup.

@sebmarkbage @vjeux i think it's a good metric for who owns the keys to the kingdom. code dictates the docs, not the other way around.
