@sebmck A community is where people live, interact, raise children, etc. A collection of people making git commits cheapens that imo.

@sebmck To me, an OSS "community" is most similar to a (distributed) workplace. Most ppl wouldn't use "community" to describe their jobs :) -
@adamrackis dunno, at FB we use community to refer to our users for example. word are pretty versatile.
