@matthewcp Surely you can’t blame Babel 6 for encouraging experimental features? It is doing exact opposite: make them more trouble to use.

@dan_abramov It blanketly makes everything more trouble to use, not just experimental features. Arrow functions, etc. is the same.

@matthewcp Curious how. You should be covered by es2015. If specific community needs more control they need a preset.

@dan_abramov Surely you agree that modules: ["commonjs"] is more direct than "babel-preset-2015"

@dan_abramov If you need anything else it becomes presets: [ "babel-preset-es2015-no-commonjs" ], plugins: [ "whatever" ]

@matthewcp So CommonJS is the main issue right? Beginners don’t need to customize anything else but they use other module systems?
